The 1934 Buffalo Nickel was only produced at the Philadelphia Mint and the Denver Mint in 1934. The Philadelphia Mint struck 20,213,003 coins. The Denver Mint coined 7,480,000 strikes.
1934 Buffalo Head Nickel coins made at the Philadelphia Mint were a pretty good run of coins. You can find many coins in uncirculated mint condition. What is really scarce is coins that are in uncirculated mint condition with perfect details. Even though they are know to exist finding one will be tough.
The coins made at the Denver Mint were also a pretty good run of mint coins. Finding coins with very nice details should be easy to do.
The uncirculated mint coins with perfect details are more scarce than perfect coins from the Philadelphia mint. Good luck in finding one.
